This page can be a reference as to which modules you will be focusing on for your CSK assessment. Everyone is assessed on all 8 modules, however, the programme that you are initially trained on will dictate which 4 modules you will be verbally assessed on, and which you will have online assessments for.
If you have any questions around your CSK assessment, please contact Becky@mybnk.org

What happens next?
MyBnk will contact you to organise your overall assessment. If we have not been in touch with you please ring the MyBnk office on 0207 377 8770 and ask to speak to the Quality and Training team.
What is the overall assessment?
- There are two sections to the assessment of the Finance Core Subject Knowledge: a presentation and a series of online tests.
- You will need to come into the MyBnk office for half a day to complete your assessment. The Quality and Training team will arrange this date with you.
How long will it take me to prepare for the assessment?
- This will depend on your existing knowledge levels but we estimate 4 days of study.
- You must read every module.
- The presentation will be on 4 modules that are directly relevant to the MyBnk programmes that you will be delivering to young people.
- Spend 70% of your time preparing for the presentation- you will need to know all the details of these modules.
- 30% of your time preparing for the online tests that will be on the key facts and figures of the remaining 4 modules.
What do I need to do for each part of the assessment?
1. Presentation- 70% preparation time
- The first part of the assessment is a face-to-face presentation to the Q&T team.
- You will be asked to present for 10-15 minutes on 4 modules directly relevant to the programme you are training on.
- You will be told which modules to prepare for your presentation (see bottom of page)
- You will be expected to present on key information i.e. listed in the red boxes and highlighted as ‘IMPORTANT’.
- The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
- This should be “chalk & talk” – we are interested in your ability to explain the topics
- Don’t get bogged down by too much detail!
- Use real life examples and personal stories to bring the topics to life.
- You may refer to summarised prompt notes during your presentation.
2. Online Tests- 30% preparation time
- The second part of assessment is online tests.
- The online tests will be on the modules that are not included in your presentation.
- There will be a 15 minute test on each module.
- You will be asked about key ideas, facts and figures for each module.
- There will be multiple choice and short answer questions.
- You are not be able to use notes.
The following table outline which modules you will be asked to take online tests on and which modules you will be asked to present on per programme:
